Religious places

                  In Nepal,there are approximately 12000 religious places including both small and large temples. Only in Kathmandu valley,there are more than 1000 religious places which include temples monasteries, gumbas, bihars, durbars, tombs etc. Among these, there are about 888 important monuments of national level. In kathmandu valley,approximately 80%of monuments are of national and international levels.The monuments are associated indirectly or directly with our religion and culture. Outside Kathmandu valley , there are about 560 religious places which include temple ,monastries,gumbas ,bihars,durbars etc. Previously ,religious places were protected by the people.But now the situation has been changed .The religious places has been crowded by the increasing population. It has created much pressure on the environment of religious places.The environment of the religious places is getting polluted.
